Based in the heart of Hertfordshire, James Alexander Design specialises in architectural, interior and landscape design. I’m committed to exceeding my client’s expectations and delivering unique design solutions for each and every project. I love what I do and invest great energy in delivering projects which bring to life my client’s design ambitions.

James Alexander Design can takes your project from concept and design, through to implementation - in whatever capacity the individual project requires. I believe design should enhance every aspect of your life in aesthetic’s, form and function.

Having gained the majority of my experience within the residential and hospitality sector, I’m passionate in assisting my client’s produce the design of their dreams. There isn’t anything more rewarding than enhancing an individuals life through creative, beautiful and functional spaces. I believe that architectural, interior and landscape design are only successful when they’re coherently designed as one, with strong relationships and touch points that bring them together. I use design as a catalyst to reflect my clients and their unique lives, evoking the senses and creating special moments.

From a young age I always wanted to study and practice in Architecture - having always had a fascination with our built-environment. Over the year’s this has come to encompass how interior and landscape design interact with architecture and how all three disciplines share many core values that contribute to the way we live our lives. Having completed my BA(Hons) Architecture and Master of Architecture (MArch), I continued towards certification with both RIBA and ARB - completing my Adv DipPPA in Architecture and becoming a fully qualified Architect.
